Personal Data Collected and Processing

The Application processes text and speech data provided by users for the sole purpose of providing translation services.

• Translation Data: Input text or speech is sent to Google Cloud AI for processing. You can choose whether your data is processed on EU servers (GDPR-compliant) or global servers.

• Deletion: Data is not stored by Yeehaw AB. It is processed only temporarily for translation and deleted immediately after the translation is completed.

• No Model Training: Translation data is not used to train AI models.

Other data processed:

• Device Information: Operating system, device model, and unique identifiers may be collected for technical and analytical purposes.

• Usage Data: General usage statistics (e.g., time spent in the app) may be collected to improve performance.

• Contact Information: If you voluntarily contact us (e.g., via email), we may process your email address to respond.

Legal Basis for Processing

• Translation services: Performance of a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).

• Analytics and improvements: Legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).

• Communications/marketing: Consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).

Data Sharing

• Google Cloud AI: Translation requests are transmitted securely to Google Cloud AI. Depending on your choice, processing occurs on EU servers or global servers.

• Service Providers: Hosting and analytics providers may process limited technical data.

• Legal obligations: Data may be disclosed if required by law.

We do not sell or otherwise share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data Retention

• Translation Data: Deleted immediately after translation is completed.

• Device and Usage Data: Retained for [e.g., 12 months] for analytics, then anonymized or deleted.

• Contact Information: Retained until your request is resolved or you opt out.

International Transfers

If you select EU servers, your data will remain within the European Economic Area (EEA).
If you select global servers, your data may be processed outside the EEA. In such cases, safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) are applied.
